The government backed iawards recognise the best British achievements in science, technology and innovation. They are the first awards of their kind to be backed by the British government, working in partnership with leading entrepreneur James Caan.

There are 13 award categories, entrants must specify the British involvement in any innovation and each entry must also demonstrate that its innovation can address one of the Government’s key challenges for science including: combating climate change, global security, improving public services and delivering healthcare.  Winners will receive significant publicity and help from UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) to meet potential business partners at key industry events.  The closing date for entries is 16th September.  For more information and to enter visit www.iawards.org.uk
